gulliver's travels: long journey both for me and for gulliver

reading this book was a long long journey for me....... literally... though i really appreciate swift's imagination i don't know why but i felt something missing..... maybe its the lack of more adventure which i was expecting or lots of pages filled uselessly with long dialogues or his extra difficult literature... which disturbed me...
also there is a lot of political setting here thus making it a little boring for those who are not interested in itincluding me!!! the story is written in 1st person by Gulliver, a surgeon. swift's imagination as i said earlier is amazing but there is somewhere lack of humor. n above all are the difficult words.. although i understand them my flow of reading is disturbed... it seems likes he's using hammer where the work can also be done with needle and thread
im not gonna manipulate the story to you .. his journey those 4 places.. as that you can read in its summary... im just sharing my thoughts with you..
i also found the liliput part a bit annoying... they didnt know english and there are no dialogues there... boring.......
i liked adventures... but i wss expecting more of adventure part... some more wars.. more difficulties hurdles...
after all these disappointing points i found in this story, i would again want to come back to swift's wonderful imagination.. which forced me to read this book after so many negative points... as i began to go deep into the story i was just avoiding all the boring dialogues... difficult words, boring politics, and all other things just to know what happened next in the story and thus i read this long book in about two and a half weeks and i dont regret reading it is really a CLASSIC filled with swift's amazing literaturewhich i call difficult!! and someboring politics and humor and adventure...........
