It was just average

by Sayan Mukherjee
(NOIDA, UP, India)

Rowling's now familiar plot pattern the one with the deux ex machina at the end is getting tiresome. Only in the Deathly Hallows does she depart from tradition and peppers it throughout the book.

The plot seems to be going nowhere throughout the book and it seems as if she has tried to kill off the main character many times over but has thought better of it.

The final Harry vs Voldermort battle was a huge disappointment, it was a poor decision to base the conclusion of such a popular series on such an anti-climactic footing.

All in all, Rowling may be a best-selling author but it just proves that you can either write for the masses or write for the minds.
