anti-climatic and loaded with pointless details. Both narrator and Olivia cannot be associated to the reader and the book becomes impersonal and lengthy. My class spent 3/4 of our time reading asking ourselves when things would pick up. Nothing happened, we are all dissapointed and it was loaded of details (unimportant). Today I stand here clueless of how to wriite my reading response because I can't remember the imporatant events or their significance. This sucks! The book is horrible! A waste of my time... Perhaps this representation of india through the eyes of the narrator lacks a certain oopmf that is needed in order to create a good novel.
