The Name of the Rose

A brilliant confluence of historical fiction and mystery, told by an unreliable narrator (who admits as much on the first page), 'The Name of the Rose', is highly challenging and highly entertaining.

Reviewers who say that that it is too 'hard' to read or that they need to gloss over passages to dig into the plot are missing out. This novel mixes the history of truth and faith into the pot of a murder mystery.

Ultimately, it questions what is believed and what is true--and what the difference between the is, if any.
