I thoroughly enjoyed reading "The Life of Pi", although the middle section was a bit repetitve and monotonous. The beginning was well written and provided just enough description for me to feel I knew the young boy, Pi. The ending was fantastic and made the entire book a very worthwhile read. I loaned my copy out many, many times, and each time it was returned, the new reader and I spent hours discussing the pros and cons. Opinions were equally divided as to whether the ending was believable or not. I heartily recommend this book to everyone. I'll be on the look-out for other books written by the same author. I'm now Yann Martel's Number One fan!
